Welcome

PPN is a gathering place for women who are living ministry! We have been in existence since 1998 and have been a blessing and encouragement to women all over the world. We provide free resources such as articles by our PPN writing team, message boards and conferences but more important you'll find women sharing openly and honestly about the journey.

Who are we?
A note from our founder...

Pastoring Partners Network has served as an encouragement to women in ministry all over the world since 1998. The goal of this ministry is to provide a place of information, validation, affirmation and support to women in ministry, particularly those who leading alongside their husbands.

I co-pastor alongside my husband and searched for the first 20 years of our ministry for ANY information that would be helpful to me in this calling I fulfill. For most of the years there was virtually none and I learned by the hard knocks of experience. I searched high and low for information about co-pastoring and kept waiting for somebody else to write a book on it or start a ministry. Along the journey of asking others who I felt were qualified to do a ministry such as this, many of those people said, "are you sure you're not meant to do this?" Confirmation after confirmation came that let me know it was God's desire for me to provide for others what I was so desperately searching for. The rest is history and it's been an amazing 13 year journey of connecting with others!

Pastoring Partners Network reaches out and includes women in ministry from all backgrounds and denominations, and of course those who may not be with any particular fellowship. Our leadership team here at PPN is represented by several different denominations as well as independent fellowships.

There are many high profile role models in ministry that we can find. Many of them exist in Christian television, magazines and websites of the famous. But what about mentors that you can actually e-mail privately, pick up the phone and talk to, or go out for coffee with if you live within reasonable driving distance? Who can you go to up close and personal? This is where we find the biggest lack of resource. One reason the Pastoring Partners Network exists is to provide a place where you can actually get up close and personal with the women who lead the ministry.  The goal of PPN is to encourage and empower you to fulfill the call of God upon your life.

I didn't begin Pastoring Partners Network because I believed I had all the answers. I don't. I am merely a fellow traveler on this ministry journey. But I desire to encourage and affirm you in your calling. Our desire as a team at PPN is to link arms with you, and invest in you. We have a team of writers and women on our message boards who stand ready to encourage you.  The writers of PPN are not only just a blog comment or email away -- most if not all of them are available by phone and stand ready to invest in your life.

Since starting this network thirteen years ago, we have also founded the Unstoppable Conference. At the conference, women can network and be encouraged by those they have met here on the PPN site. We also have a great time of worship, teaching, powerful prayer times, and fellowship together. This is a bi-annual conference that many women describe as the catalyst that launched them into full time partnership ministry for the first time, or renewed their call.

When I find a woman who is very involved in ministry, I notice that we are like instant magnets, drawn to one another. We speak the same language. We like to "talk shop" and find great encouragement and fulfillment in this. I have connected with lots of women all over the world who have been a part of Pastoring Partners Network since the beginning, and we have forged relationships that will last a lifetime. We have all learned so much from each other.

One of the main goals of this ministry is to serve as a “safe place” for women in ministry. We all have the Lord but sometimes, you just need a sister to come alongside you and lift you up. It is our desire to have this site be a place of encouragement for women who are not serving in leadership at this time, but desire to be. Perhaps you have not stepped out into this role, yet you are called. We're here to help you. Just register on the message board and you'll have instant help from our resident partners...those who are in the trenches and will be glad to help you however they can.

Please contact me here with any comments, questions or suggestions. I would love to hear from you. We are not in competition! We are on the same team. Let's make a connection!

Much love,
