Pastoring Partners Network was a God-send!
My husband and I had just planted a ministry and I had so many questions and was so unsure of many things.
PPN was my safe place. I found beautiful women of God who had experienced the very thing I was encountering. These women loved me, prayed me through tough situations and gave wonderful Godly counsel. I was sincerely amazed. No condemnation, no judging, just women of God who were truly concerned about what God was doing in my life.
I am forever grateful for this group!
It's been four years now and God has proven Himself faithful!
I've made wonderful friends and love them dearly!
So when Pastor Deanna asked me to write for the PPN blog, it was an automatic yes! I think it's so important for women to know that they are not alone in what they experience. We've all been there and have come out victoriously! And can I just say that Pastor Deanna is one of the most amazing women I have ever had the chance to encounter? Wow!
Alright, so a few facts about me. I'm the wife to the most wonderful man on the planet, Mr. Elgin Alexander; we've been married twenty years and soon to celebrate another. I'm mom to daughter Lindsey and son Evan, and well there's Mac the beagle too. I write for a few other blogs and even wrote a book on marriage and ministry. Elgin and I pastor the best church in the Houston area, Zion Tabernacle Christian Church! I always say that if I weren't the pastor, I'd be a member! I absolutely love what God does in the place! My love affair with the Lord Jesus only gets better with time.
I'm so glad God led me to this place and now you're here too!
So take a deep breath woman of God, you just found your safe place.
