You're Not Alone

I came across Pastoring Partners as a new associate pastor's wife. I spent hours on the internet looking for resources, articles...anything to speak to me where I was. I was looking for validation, encouragement and mentoring. The ladies of this ministry became that to me. They celebrated the successes and encouraged me during the struggles. The Holy Spirit knows no time or distance and through the power of technology I knew I had a safe place to vent my frustrations and expose my fears and receive His comfort through the words of Pastor Deanna and this group of women. They offered insight to the spiritual and practical sides of ministry and family.
Now, as a senior pastors wife, I find so much of what I read and learned from them was as much for now as it was then. My sphere of influence has grown and responsibility increased, and so much of what these ladies have spoken to me has influenced and inspired me to be to step up to plate and be all I can be for God's kingdom. While I have not had the pleasure of meeting Deanna face to face (yet!) as so many others have, I have heard her heart in the words she writes and I know her in the Lord. Her passion for ministry and her heart for the duaghters of God is contagious...I am so thrilled to be a part of continuing the message of pastoring partners...partnering with your husband in ministry is worth it and you are not doing this alone.
